Prerequisites:

Introduction to Mac or equivalent knowledge.

Select image areas using the Lasso tool, Rectangular and Elliptical marquees, and the Magic Wand tool.

Resize and crop image areas.

Select appropriate resolutions for different image and output types.

Select colors by using different color models and with the Eyedropper tool.

Use Photoshop's painting tools to create artwork or to retouch photographs.

Create and manipulate multiple layers to compose images easily.

Modify the brightness, contrast, and color balance of images.

Use "Quick Masks" and "alpha channels" to create, save and modify selection masks.

Save images in file formats for use with other applications.
