Prerequisites:

Introduction to Mac or equivalent knowledge. Familiarity with tutorials provided with the Flash software is also helpful.

  • Become familiar with Flash's interface.
  • Learn importing and exporting of images.
  • Use Flash's unique drawing tools.
  • Use symbols and libraries.
  • Learn Frames, Frame-by-Frame animation, tweened and advanced animation.
  • Work with artwork and layers and animating layers.
  • Learn about scenes and actions.
  • Create button effects for use on web sites.
  • Export and embed movies in HTML documents for web delivery.
  • Work with sound; importing and syncing.
  • Participate in an ongoing disscussion of optimization strategies for the web.
